Based on the live action movie of the name same and starring John Candy comes the animated version of Camp Candy
Camp Candy is a summer camp for kids run by John Candy, head counselor, cook and handyman. The kids participated in all sorts of summer activities, from boating to fishing, and usually something they did reminded John of an experience or story, which John would proceed to relate.
There is the scheming Rex de Forest, who wanted to shut down Camp Candy so he could clear the forest and build condos and the rivalry between Camp Knuckles and Camp Candy.
John Candy played himself as the camp's counselor, and all around dufus, and klutz. Sort of like every role John Candy played in the movies.
He always seemed to screw things up more than ever helping the situation. In spite of this, he always managed to pull things off in the end.
Nurse Molly, is of course the camps nurse, and serves as a mother figure at the camp.
Together with John, she's the only adult in the camp, and also John's love interest.
Rick is the cool, athletic one. If he was one of the characters on Saved By The Bell, he would be Zack for sure.
Voiced by: Andrew Seebaran (seasons 1-2).
Binki is the youngest of the group, and often feels left out because he is so little. He makes up for this in cuteness and just darned hugability.
Voiced by: Tony Ail (seasons 1-2).
Rex is the evil villian and will not stop untill his grand scheme of shutting Camp Candy down and to clear the forest for his planned condos is complete. He loves things like dumping oil in the rivers, and smashing flowers.
Chester is Rex DeForest's brain-dead assistant... Seriously, I think this dude is mentally retarded. Chester always manages to make things worse for Rex.
Robin is the strong willed one, who fights for what she believes in and tries to right any wrongs she encounters.
Voiced by: Danielle Fernandes (season 1).
Vanessa is the vane one. She is always worried about her hair, and what people think of her. In other words she is the resident meanie at the camp.
The treelights, the bee bites, the bark at
the moonlight. The quietness of darkness.
Songs by the firelight. The long nights, the
food fights, a summer made of memories
at Camp Candy. Moonlight, sunshine,
rainy days and wet. nahhhhhhhhh. At
"Good morning happy campers, let there be no end"
